Dr. Gábor Bányai is Producer for Interaktiv Ltd, Hungary. After completing his studies of philosophy as well as dramatics and literature in 1973, he worked for several Hungarian TV channels and production companies on a decision-making level. In addition to his engagement as a producer, Gábor Bányai lectures at Eötvös Lorand University, at the Budapest Media Institute and at the European Media Institute (holding the chair for Production, TV Programming and Communication). He is also active in the journalistic field.

László Cselényi is president of Duna TV. After his degree in psychology from the Babes-Bolya University and graduation as stage director in Bucharest, he started his career in1974 at the Klausenburg puppet theater.
In 1977 he moved as director to the Hungarian Programs of the Romanian television before he joined the Hungarian MTV as editor and director in 1981 and Duna TV in 1996.
In 2002 he was appointed director of the Urania National Theater and became in 2005 president of Duna TV. He is producer of reportages, series, portraits and documentaries as well as of musical programs. His series "Minoritates Mundi" won the "Europe Price" in 1999.

Werner Dieste is Director of the Broadcasting Center Thuringia of the MDR in Erfurt, Germany, since 2001. His career began 1984 at the Institute of Journalistic Education in Munich, before he became director of APG, a production company for commercial radio stations in North Rhine Westphalia. From 1992 to 1998 he worked as editor-in-chief for MDR 1 Radio Thuringia in Weimar and moved then as general manager to the MDR BildungsCentrum (education center) in Leipzig. He studied literature, geography and education sciences and followed a three years journalistic formation.

Tamás Frei hosts his own one-hour infotainment program, the Frei-Dossier which airs monthly at a primetime slot on the Hungarian channel TV2. This program takes a fresh look at current global issues.
Tamás Frei is a two-time Hungarian Pulitzer Prize winner and one of Hungary's most famous and respected television reporters. Tamas Frei began his career as a traveling correspondent, visiting more than 100 countries. He later became Hungary's leading war correspondent covering the Somalian and the Bosnian war situations. His claim to fame was his breaking and risky report on the Ebola virus in Zaire and his appetite for news was not even spoiled after being kidnapped in Columbia. Tamas Frei's interview credits with world leaders include Israel's ex-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, computer mogul Bill Gates, former Russian President Gorbachov, Nobel Peace Prizewinner Nelson Mandela but also entertainment stars such as Tom Hanks and Sharon Stone.

Reinhard Klimmt was Chairman of the SPD federal executive's Media Commission from 1990 to 2001. In 1964, during his studies of History, Reinhard Klimmt becomes a member of the SPD (Social-Democratic Party of Germany) He was i.e. Head of the SPD in the Saarland parliament, Prime Minister in Saarland and Federal Minister of transport, building and housing. Reinhard Klimmt is consultant of the board of the Deutsche Bahn AG since 2002.

Péter Kolosi is Director of Programming at RTL Klub. He is Doctor of Law and studied afterwards at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest, where he will be conferred the Doctor of Liberal Arts in 2006.
He started his career as Impresario of an artist and concert agency, before working at MTV as reporter and senior editor in several programs. In 1997 he became editor-in-chief and presenter at Fókusz daily magazine of RTL Klub and was nominated Director of Programming in 2001.

Iryna Kostyuk is since 2006 CEO at the media consulting company "Media Recources Management"in the Ukraine. Within a FSA student exchange program she visited the Lockport High School in the U.S. After receiving her A-levels she visited the International Christian University in Kiev for her Management and Business Administration studies. After that she was working from 2000-2006 as Head of the national TV Broadcaster "Inter TV Channel" and controlled the Acquisition Executive Department and the International Relations Development for the TV Channel.

Katalin Lázár is head of international relations at Duna TV. She holds a degree in Mathematics from the Romanian Babes-Bolyai University and a degree in Political Science from the Budapest ELTE University.
Between 1990 and 1996 she was working for the Hungarian Central Statistical Office, before moving to the Hungarian Television MTV in 1997 as head of the media research department. She is also the vice-chairwoman of the EBU Group of European Audience Researchers.

Szabolcs Macher is Managing Director of OMD Hungary.since 2003. After a BSc at the Budapest Business School, he joined OMD as a media planner-buyer and climbed up to the position of a group media director. In 2002 he became head of BTL Division of Extreme Communications before returning at the top of OMD. Szabolcs Macher is Head of the Media Section of the Hungarian Association of Communication Agencies (MAKSZ).

Cornelia Rabitz is Head of the Russian programs of Deutsche Welle. After studying literature and Slavic sciences in Gießen, Mainz and Berlin, she worked as a trainee for Deutschlandfunk and free-lance for different media. In 1979 she entered the news team of Deutsche Welle and reported as correspondent from the parliament in Bonn and later from the capital studio in Berlin. After working in the political team in Bonn of the German program, she became Head of the Russian programs and is also responsible for window programs in Belarus and Central Asian Republics.

Jens Richter is Managing Director of the worldwide operating distribution arm of ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG, SevenOne International. He has more than fifteen years experience in the media industry. He was previously employed at Beta Film, Munich, where he was Managing Director in charge of the worldwide distribution of free/pay TV, home video and theatrical rights. Before that he worked as senior vice president at Prisma Sports & Media, London, where he markedly improved business performance in the sports sector with his innovative ideas. Richter has a degree in business administration.

János Sediánszky János Sediánszky ist Journalist und Schriftsteller. Er studierte Außenwirtschaft und ungarische Literatur in Budapest. . Nach seinem Abschluss in 1957 arbeitet er als Journalist beim ungarischen Radio. Von 1968 bis 1976 leitete er die französische Abteilung des ungarischen Fernsehens. 1978 erschien sein erstes Buch. Seit 1996 arbeitet er als freier Journalist für verschiedene Medien wie das ungarischen Staats-Fernsehen und -Radio sowie DUNA TV. in 1997 und 2004 erschienen zwei weitere Bücher von ihm. János Sediánszki wurde mit der ungarischen Ehrenmedaille durch den Präsidenten Ferenc Mádl und mit einem Tourismus-Preis der französischen Regierung ausgezeichnet

Ryszard Sibilski is Managing Director of Endemol Polska since 2006. He graduated from Warsaw School of Economics with a degree in Business Administration. In 1988 he joined ITI Poland where he launched Polish commercial home video and theatrical distribution and secured exclusive distribution rights for Poland from American major studios such as Warner Brothers, Universal, Paramount, MGM, Columbia. In the 1990's Ryszard Sibilski created and managed Poland's leading film distribution company, ITI Cinema. In addition, he co-produced and distributed several Polish theatrical films including highest grossing title of 1997 and the most successful Polish commercial release, "Kiler", the rights of which have been purchased by Disney for a Hollywood production. In 1998 he joined the management board of TVN, a newly emerged commercial TV station, currently in the leading position in the highly competitive Polish TV market. His responsibilities involved: programming acquisitions, production, airtime sales and finance. Responsible for Polish adaptations of numerous successful foreign TV formats: "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire", "Big Brother" and many others. In 2002 he left television to head the merger of ITI Film Studio and ITI Cinema.

Dr. Jaroslav Sonka is director of studies at the European Academy Berlin in the field of European Integration, Media and Post-Totalitarian Transformation Processes in Middle and South Eastern Europe. Furthermore, he is guest lecturer in the field of Mass Communication (focus: ethics, politics and media) at Karls-University in Prague. Since 1990 he works for the Deutsche Welle and for the BBC (Czech section) and is present with other contributions to the print media, radio and TV in Germany and Czechia. Jaroslav Sonka studied biology, philosophy as well as Czech literature and language in Hamburg and Prague.

Dr. János Schiffer
is Vice Mayor of the City of Budapest. The Jurist worked as a consultant for the senate of education and culture. He is foundation member of the Hungarian socialist party (MSZP) und was member of the commission for media and culture at the National Assembly. He was chairman at the foundation of the Budapest club "Pro Cultura Urbis". Since 2002, he is Vice Mayor of the City of Budapest.

Pavel Stantchev is currently the Managing Director of Nova TV, a private Free TV station in Bulgaria, owned by Antenna Group Greece. Nova TV airs some of the most popular shows in Bulgaria, such as "Big Brother", "Millionaire", "CSI" and "Deal or no deal".
Pavel Stantchev has graduated journalism in Paris. In the last 15 years he held different management positions with Ringier, Time Warner and RTL Group, focused on Central and Eastern Europe, and Asia. Among his achievements are the successful launch of some of the biggest newspapers in the region, the Pay-TV channel HBO in Romania and Bulgaria and the broadcaster RTL Croatia.
