On June 21st, 2006, the day before DISCOP, the international TV forum EUROPEAN TELEVISION DIALOGUE will take place at Budapest's famous Gerbeaud Ház. It offers the unique possibility to discuss cultural experiences, professional business models and media-policy visions with high-ranking personalities from TV industry and the world of media politics from all over Europe. The one-day conference is THE opportunity to talk about chances and risks in the TV business after the EU opening.

Five weeks to go: On June 21st, 2006, the day before DISCOP, the international TV forum EUROPEAN TELEVISION DIALOGUE will take place at Budapest's famous Gerbeaud Ház. It is not for nothing that the EUROPEAN TELEVISION DIALOGUE, which was already held successfully twice in Munich, was established as the forum for the media branch in East and West. The new variety in the European TV market holds opportunities and dangers - reason enough for this exchange of views between professionals from all over Europe. TV executives and political personalities will once again assure lively discussions and trendsetting contents.

As Europe continues to grow, the questions and challenges linked to the television business increase. A Company Consulting & Licensing AG and gotoBavaria, a department of the FilmFernsehFonds Bayern GmbH, (Film and Television Media Fund, Bavaria), the organizers of the EUROPEAN TELEVISION DIALOGUE, have recognized the growing demand for an East-West dialogue within the European television industry. After the vast success of the years 2004 and 2005, this year's EUROPEAN TELEVISION DIALOGUE will present its platform twice:
in Budapest, Hungary on June 21st, 2006 (the day before DISCOP) and
in Munich, Germany on October 17th, 2006 (the day before Medientage München).

Excellent Response to the 2ND EUROPEAN TELEVISION DIALOGUE
The EUROPEAN TV DIALOGUE has become established as an international forum for the exchange of information between Eastern and Western European TV industries.
n 25 October 2005, more than 120 high-level personalities from the television industry and media policy from 15 Eastern and Western European countries attended the 2nd EUROPEAN TELEVISION DIA-LOGUE in Munich.
