The 1st EUROPEAN TELEVISION DIALOGUE, devoted to the topic "New Chances and Challenges for Decision-Makers and Program-Creators Following the EU Enlargement," took place on 19 October 2004 in Munich. Some 65 television experts from Eastern and Western Europe participated, including broadcast executives, producers, and prominent figures from the world of politics and media studies.
